OOB: Power Apps + D365 HR

After the intro published a week ago: Model-driven app for D365HR I decided to follow up and show you how two solutions can finish each other's processes. This OOB functionality is quite simple and easy to move things from ERP to PP and the other way around. Microsoft describes this add-on as:

App that provides a robust platform for sourcing, interviewing, and assessing candidates to identify the best fit for a job opportunity. By leveraging the Power Platform capability, the app provides a seamless experience for recruiters. It comprises the creation of job, posting the job, candidate's profile maintenance, inviting candidates to apply, and tracking candidate's multiple job applications.

One of the main pros of this app is that managers only need to enter the request to recruit in the system, and the process will be followed within Power Platform. If you are wondering how to request to recruit, let's ask Copilot, see the answer below:

Now that we know how to request to recruit, let's do it. First, go to Employee self-service.

Self-service will open. If you are a manager My team tab will display as shown below.

Once there select Request to recruit, add information in the fields. Select Complete.

After selecting Continue, the request will appear in the new recruitment add-on.

When the recruiting request is selected, the window below will open. Feel free to modify or add details to the job ad.

Below, I added some more details to the description to make it catchier - if we are lucky I can hire a cool artist as lead singer.

All details should be saved.

After saving, the opening will display new tabs. This means that the project has been officially kicked off.

See below the hiring process, meaning the template that will be used for the specific recruitment project.

Screening questions will display the main information that needs to be collected. These questions will be displayed in the Power Pag

And finally, approvals can be activated if needed.

Have you tried this functionality already?
